Start-Up Technician II

TITLE: Start-up Technician II

The Start-up & Warranty Service Technician II must have an EPA Certification. The Start-up Service Technician II is expected to be proficient in the area of start-up, must be able to continually enforce safety to the highest standards. Must be able to work in extreme heat conditions. Must be able to work out of town and weekends. Integrity is highly sought-after over skill level.

Position Summary:

• Read voltage, take amp draws, align and tension belts, install filters,

• Identify Equipment on blueprints

• Recover, pull vacuums and weigh charge in unit

• Ability to start-up various pieces of equipment with no direction

• Identify some improper installation issues

• Soft solder and braze with oxygen and acetylene

• Install unit accessories

• Wire in low voltage

• Ability to diagnose smaller calls

• Communicate issues to Start-up Foreman

• Provide all information from each warranty call, document work by accurately and neatly completing paperwork.
