Start-Up Technician

Job Description Job Description We're looking for candidates with strong technical skills, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering top-notch client service. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring newly installed refrigeration systems meet client specifications and industry standards through commissioning, testing, and calibration.

Join us and make an impact with your expertise Responsibilities: Collaborate with project managers and installation teams to understand requirements and timelines for new commercial refrigeration installations. Conduct pre-start-up inspections to ensure correct installation and compliance with design specifications.

Perform system start-up according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues using diagnostic tools, and ensure proper operation during start-up. Conduct functional tests and performance evaluations to verify temperature control and energy efficiency.

Document start-up activities comprehensively in commissioning reports for client review. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of proven experience in commercial refrigeration start-up. Strong knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, components, and start-up procedures, including Emerson, CPC, and Danfoss control systems.

Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems, including wiring diagrams and refrigeration principles. Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and adapt to various work environments. Availability for out-of-town assignments with night shifts (weekends off). Valid driver's license with a clean record.
