Stand Up Forklift Operator

Job Description Job Description Currently seeking a Stand-up Forklift Operator for full-time temporary to permanent position in Norton, MA. Responsibilities of Stand-up Forklift Operator:

• Safely operate stand up forklift and other warehouse/production equipment

• Perform maintenance tasks on forklifts and update maintenance logs

• Load/unload materials from trucks

• Restock shipping supplies, notifying Operations Manager of items that to be ordered

• Pick/pack orders following customer order forms

• Assembly parts and pieces together

• Assist with minor shop repairs and maintenance

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Complete other related tasks as assigned Requirements of Stand-up Forklift Operator: -High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred

• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in production environment and 1 year in order fulfillment

• Must have forklift certification

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Strong problem solving skills

• Possess math and calculation skills

• Able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and stand throughout shift

• Valid Driver’s License Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday Pay Rate: $19.00-$20.00/hr Company Description The Alpha Group is one of Massachusetts largest privately owned staffing firms.
