Stand Up Forklift Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Stand Up Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Stand Up Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for various tasks related to loading/unloading, inventory control, warehouse management, and materials handling. Responsibilities: -Able to operate either stand up forklift, pallet jack, high reach cherry picker, RFC scanner, shipping and receiving

• Perform inventory control activities, including receiving, counting, and recording incoming shipments

• Utilize warehouse management system to track and locate products within the warehouse

• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to move and stack materials

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently

• Ensure proper handling and storage of products to prevent damage or loss

• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed

• Perform basic maintenance on warehouse equipment

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent

• Previous warehouse shipping and receiving experience

• Proficient in operating stand-up forklifts and pallet jacks

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and rf scanners

• Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is desirable

• Excellent organizational and time management skills THIS POSITION IS IN A COLD STORAGE ENVIRONMENT 1st Shift: 4:30am – 1:30pm. $13.00 hr 2nd Shift 1:30pm – 2:00am $14.00 hr Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
