Job Description:

Shift: Monday

  • Friday(3:30pm

  • 11:36pm)

Purpose: Setup and operate stamping presses and support equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1.Setup up dies, presses, support equipment and vision equipment safely and correctly.
2.Run presses to required quality and efficiency levels.
3.Conduct visual quality inspection of products as well as accept responsibility for quality as produced.
4.Identify product and equipment problems and correct.
5.Label and package finished goods as well as complete necessary documentation when required.
6.Perform assigned housekeeping duties and keep a safe and organized work area.
7.Recognize containment and correct as necessary; Able to utilize SF and SAP in conformance with procedures.
8.Communication with co-workers, support departments, teams, management.
9.Strive to improve methods/techniques of operations with procedures.
10. Set standards for policies and procedures. Teach, train and instruct. Able to maximize quality and productivity.
11. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Quality and Environmental systems by following stated policies and procedures.
12. Actively support Lean/Six sigma initiatives and programs.

Scope: Responsible for stamping operation with respect to production output, QAP, and department initiatives.

This position does not qualify for a VISA sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift & move up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Stamping Manufacturing Support Operator experience

VIEW JOBS 12/7/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-07T00:00 Position Summary Working under minimum supervision, function as a lead technician and/or technical specialist in support of packaging products in accordance with Regulatory and Zoetis guidelines. Work as part of a team operating pharmaceutical packaging lines. Maintain accurate and concurrent documentation of all tasks completed. Maintain a positive attitude and be able to work well with others in a team environment. Demonstrate good attendance. Position Responsibilities * Coordinate staff work assignments, equipment utilization and other department resources * Assemble and approve issued packaging documentation, review completed documents for accuracy * Final approval responsibility for equipment, line clearance and component issuance prior to line start up * Monitor and check line operations to ensure all packaging procedures are being accurately completed for each product * Conduct detailed troubleshooting and/or advanced maintenance of packaging equipment * Apply divisional quality standards to the operation and take appropriate action as needed * Assist with equipment set-up and operation as assigned * Assist with meeting routers and schedules * Communicate effectively between departments, shifts and employees * Understand and enforce company policies and procedures; i.e. Personnel, Safety, SOP's and cGMP's * Assist and conduct investigations * Review and update SOP's and Operational manuals * Conduct employee training (classroom and OJT) * Assist supervisor with employee evaluations * Keep supervisor informed of shop floor issues and concerns * Write work-orders and purchase requisitions * Work with Maintenance and Engineering to improve equipment operation * Make vendor contacts as appropriate * Contribute and participate in Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) * Assist Production Development; i.e. Stability runs, Designs of Experiments and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) Education and Experience To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each principle job duty satisfactory. Education/Experience * Two years college and/or four years Pharmaceutical or Biological experience * Demonstrated technical understanding of packaging equipment * Completion of Leadership training courses or equivalent training Language Skills * Communication skills at college level * Ability to speak effectively before employees and management * Capable to write detailed memos, monthly reports and operational procedures Mathematical Skills * Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra * Ability to calculate proportions, percentages and volume * Ability to write project justifications showing cost justifications Reasoning Abilities * Ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables * Ability to make logical decisions concerning shift and department issues Interpersonal Abilities * Demonstrated leadership proficiency * Ability to develop and enhance a teamwork atmosphere * Ability to resolve employee conflicts fairly among co-workers * Ability to confidentially handle employee and company information PREFERRED CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS * College degree (Business or Science fields) and four years supervisory / technical experience Proficiency in PC windows applications; i.e. word processing, spreadsheets and other in-house software systems.
