Responsible for directing the Production Operations of the Stamping Business Unit while being directly accountable to the Director of Stamping & Tooling.
Assist with the profit and loss (P/L) responsibilities and manages the Business Unit assets and resources to maximize performance.
Develop world-class manufacturing operations working closely with VP of Operations through the use of automation, QMS systems documentation, demand flow technologies, and a team of empowered employees to continuously meet customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee and direct all stamping employees; press operators, assembly and tumbling areas.
Works with Production Planning in order to meet on time delivery goal..
Monitors production rates to assure jobs are running at optimal performance.
Leads by example.
Review all completed jobs and addresses any improvements for future runs.
Provides leadership by promoting team concepts, coaching, counseling, retaining, mentoring, training, talent management, and individual development thru effective performance management.
Annually review and update HRQR's for all stamping employees.
Cooperate with other departments to fulfill assigned tasks.
Knowledge of Business Unit offering and operational processes; and efficient with MRP operating system.
People skills and management capabilities to work with all Business Units teams in unity.
Demonstrated ability to lead people and obtain results through others.
Demonstrating ability to organize and manage multiple priorities using team effective problem solving/resolution skill.
Oversees safety / OSHA requirements in stamping department.
Ability to influence & train others.
Technical knowledge of stamping machinery. Including, but not limited to; Progressive tooling, Wintriss / Link die protection systems, die safety and sensors.
