Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work in a safe manner- Follow all safety policies such as LOTO procedures and wear PPE as required by department

  • Strive to reduce downtime by working efficiently and performing counter measures aimed at the root cause

  • Provide expertise on stamping die related problems

  • Support the development of both short and long term counter measures

  • Investigate, propose and implement maintenance activity that will improve profitability

  • Perform counter measure activity as needed

  • Support the management of equipment spare parts inventory

  • Support the management of the equipment PM program

  • Perform all tasks as required by stamping management

Daily Tasks Performed:

  • Attend and participate in daily shift meetings

  • Ensure good communication between shifts and all work is handed off properly

  • Ensure all downtime calls are properly responded to and all activity is properly recorded

Minimum Job Relevant Experience:

  • Knowledge of electrical/mechanical maintenance

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and stamping line processes

Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of electrical/ mechanical maintenance

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and stamping line processes

Degree or Certification Required:

  • 2 year technical training in a related area or equivalent experience

Required Skills (Musts):

  • PLC Programming and troubleshooting skills, computer skills, MS Office,
  • Knowledge of stamping press repair

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work closely with others

  • Ability to read equipment drawings

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

  • Ability to work under presses in a downtime situation

Environment Associate will Work in: Office/ Production Floor

Estimated Weekly Overtime: Up to 16 hours/week
