Looking for a job with horses? We are hiring a Stagecoach Driver to provide transportation for resort guests. You will be responsible for guest satisfaction, safety and security. If you share our passion for excellent customer service and enjoy meeting new people, this is the job for you!

OVERVIEW

As a Stagecoach Driver you'll transport and guide guests to performances in a 6-passenger stagecoach at one of our Sun RV Resorts. You'll ensure the guests are satisfied, safe and secure for the duration of the trip. Additionally, you'll provide the stagecoach horses with food and water, maintain the cleanliness of the stagecoach and assist with maintenance repairs as needed.

JOB DUTIES

  • Transport passengers in a 6-passenger stagecoach to and from performances.

  • Greet guests and customers; assist passengers getting on and off of the stagecoach.

  • Inspect stagecoach for maintenance issues or needed repairs before and after each ride; communicate maintenance needs to Entertainment Manager.

  • Follow safety laws and procedures while performing duties, including safely operating stagecoach.

  • Perform general maintenance and maintain cleanliness of stagecoach, both inside and outside, on a daily basis.

  • Ensure proper care of stagecoach horses throughout each shift; feed and provide water to animals.

  • Inspect animals for injury before and after each stagecoach ride.

  • Participate in small Western themed performances, as needed.

  • Transport and unload Entertainment Performers for shows, when needed.

  • Answer questions and interact with passengers throughout each stagecoach ride.

  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Education (some HS education required)

  • Previous experience providing care for horses, preferred

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds

  • Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet

What is a Store Driver? Entry level store position capable of supporting delivery of parts to commercial customers. The role has the responsibility to deliver parts to our commercial customers and assist with task and inventory processes in the store. This position can be part time or full time and must be fleet safety certified.
