Must be at least 18 years old
Knowledge of theater, including but not limited to: safety in assigned work location, costume construction/maintenance/organization, ability to use industrial sewing machine, airbrushing equipment, to perform costume construction and maintenance. Ability to use hand tools/small power tools for basic maintenance.
Must have excellent organizational, problem solving, and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills successfully interacting in a positive manner with various entertainers, technicians, outside contractors, entertainment and park staff, and personnel from other departments
Must have flexible schedule to include working daytime, evenings, late night, overnight, weekends and holidays
Must be team-oriented with a positive, kid-siderate attitude and display strong guest service skills.
Hands on capability to operate basic technical equipment, troubleshoot basic technical problems, and display proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Must be able to obtain valid driver's license be able to meet Busch Gardens driving guidelines
Adhere to and enforce all Park/Department policies and procedures
Able to push/pull/lift/carry 50lbs on frequent basis throughout work shift. Must be able to climb heights in excess of 6' on occasional basis. Candidate must be able to operate motor vehicles including forklift and box truck, perform simple grasping, fine motor skill manipulation, bend waist to floor and reach overhead on frequent basis. In addition to indoor work in conditioned space this position spends extensive portion of work schedule outdoors in Florida weather conditions, heat, humidity, cold, rain, etc. Prolong periods of standing and walking are routine in workday

Responsible for the implementation of the daily operation of the Costume Shop, which may include, but not be limited to, scheduling, following up on tasks, participating in the planning of Production needs, costume organization, costume transportation, strike, and inventory.
Responsible for assistance of areas to include but not limited to; costume/dresser staff, technicians, cast, daily hours reporting, deviation/sign in sheets, Costume Shop safety, character maintenance, facility maintenance and cleanliness, scheduling and conducting costume load in and outs in cooperation with technical team, attending daily meetings and information dissemination, employee development, employee record keeping, inventory & procurement of equipment, materials and supplies, assist with SOPs for assigned show / area as necessary
Responsible for developing and maintaining quality standards throughout all assigned tasks, special events, and shows.
Responsible for knowledge of all positions necessary for show operation.
Act as front line management representative. Act as a liaison with Entertainment Technical, Production, and Operational Entertainment Management Staff.
Responsible for coordination and implementation of Special Shows and Entertainment requirements involving the Costume Shop or in other facilities as needed
Responsible for assisting with Entertainment activities and special events in other facilities as needed.
Submit weekly reports to Managers detailing all show related issues and maintenance that has occurred during the week
Cover for other Costume Shop Team members as needed on their days off, vacation, absences etc.
Perform other duties as assigned based on business need
