Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Knowledge of theater, including but not limited to: safety in assigned work location, costume construction/maintenance/organization, ability to use industrial sewing machine, airbrushing equipment, to perform costume construction and maintenance. Ability to use hand tools/small power tools for basic maintenance.

  • Must have excellent organizational, problem solving, and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

  • Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills successfully interacting in a positive manner with various entertainers, technicians, outside contractors, entertainment and park staff, and personnel from other departments

  • Must have flexible schedule to include working daytime, evenings, late night, overnight, weekends and holidays

  • Must be team-oriented with a positive, kid-siderate attitude and display strong guest service skills.

  • Hands on capability to operate basic technical equipment, troubleshoot basic technical problems, and display proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Must be able to obtain valid driver's license be able to meet Busch Gardens driving guidelines

  • Adhere to and enforce all Park/Department policies and procedures

  • Able to push/pull/lift/carry 50lbs on frequent basis throughout work shift. Must be able to climb heights in excess of 6' on occasional basis. Candidate must be able to operate motor vehicles including forklift and box truck, perform simple grasping, fine motor skill manipulation, bend waist to floor and reach overhead on frequent basis. In addition to indoor work in conditioned space this position spends extensive portion of work schedule outdoors in Florida weather conditions, heat, humidity, cold, rain, etc. Prolong periods of standing and walking are routine in workday

  • Must be flexible in work locations as placement will depend on business needs and career development opportunities

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation of the daily operation of the Costume Shop, which may include, but not be limited to, scheduling, following up on tasks, participating in the planning of Production needs, costume organization, costume transportation, strike, and inventory.

  • Responsible for assistance of areas to include but not limited to; costume/dresser staff, technicians, cast, daily hours reporting, deviation/sign in sheets, Costume Shop safety, character maintenance, facility maintenance and cleanliness, scheduling and conducting costume load in and outs in cooperation with technical team, attending daily meetings and information dissemination, employee development, employee record keeping, inventory & procurement of equipment, materials and supplies, assist with SOPs for assigned show / area as necessary

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining quality standards throughout all assigned tasks, special events, and shows.

  • Responsible for knowledge of all positions necessary for show operation.

  • Act as front line management representative. Act as a liaison with Entertainment Technical, Production, and Operational Entertainment Management Staff.

  • Responsible for coordination and implementation of Special Shows and Entertainment requirements involving the Costume Shop or in other facilities as needed

  • Responsible for assisting with Entertainment activities and special events in other facilities as needed.

  • Submit weekly reports to Managers detailing all show related issues and maintenance that has occurred during the week

  • Cover for other Costume Shop Team members as needed on their days off, vacation, absences etc.

  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business need

Make quality repairs while maintaining high standards for efficiency and observing all safety requirements. Perform all additional duties assigned by the Body Shop Supervisor or Manager. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are followed at all times. Job Description: Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to the following: 1. Provide excellent customer service: * Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention. * Maintain a professional appearance, orderly work environment and friendly disposition by greeting others. * Return customer's vehicles in clean condition with radios, seats, mirrors and other convenience items in the same position as when the customer brought the vehicle in. No smoking in customer vehicles. * Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise Management of all serious complaints or incidences. 2. Perform preparation work on vehicles: * Perform all necessary preparation work on damaged surfaces of vehicles in accordance with auction and professional standards * Review work orders and identify damaged panels, parts and bumpers * Wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while working. * Remove vehicle parts, if necessary, using appropriate power equipment and hand tools. * Repair panels: sand, fill, coat and feather damaged area. * Prime: clean and mask repaired areas, mix primer, apply appropriate number of coats of primer. * Inspect all work and rework if necessary. 3. Complete documentation: * Properly complete all work order documentation, record vehicle stock number and body hours. * Check off each job and return the work order to the Body Shop Clerk or Manager when work has been completed. 4. Maintain work station: * Ensure all shop area conditions are not a potential threat to employee or customer safety. * Respond to and follow proper procedures on employee or customer accidents, injuries, and loss or damage to any property. * Report all incidents to Body Shop Supervisor or Manager immediately per auction policy. 5. Other responsibilities: * Maintain equipment and tools properly and advise supervisor or manager of any needed equipment maintenance or breakdown. * Practice and promote teamwork at all times. * Set a good personal example of attitude and performance. * Practice and promote company Core Values: Integrity, Customer Care, Innovation, Safety, Teamwork, Employee Welfare, Community Involvement and Fun. Body Repair Tech – Specific Responsibilities and Skills * Vehicle Inspection & Collision Repair – Identify body part replacements, Identify Collision repair, Identify hidden damages. Body Repair Tech Qualifications: * High School Diploma or GED preferred * Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver's license. * Must provide sufficient tools and knowledge to use tools that are required to perform the job. * 1 to 2 years of body repair experience preferred * Certification in Aluminum repairs preferred * I-CAR training preferred Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: The physical activity requirements of the position are Medium to Heavy Physical Work.
