Our Customer Success Strategy & Operations team uses valuable data and market research to help our customers succeed and drive value. Our teams collaborate to identify solutions using competitor and industry trend analysis, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making. We're responsible for facilitating smooth transitions during organizational change efforts that promote employee adoption. You'll help solve challenges faced by our teams to help make Zscaler more efficient in meeting our customers' needs.

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Customer Success Operations organization. You will develop diagnostic and automation tools for customer support and success teams. You will improve processes by applying the latest technologies to build intuitive and efficient tools for the purpose of technical diagnostics and automation. This role is onsite in Plano, Texas at least two days a week. (Open to a remote hire) You will report to the VP, Customer Success Strategy Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop/maintain diagnostic, automation tools, and software applications

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and customer success teams to gather requirements/pain points and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following coding best practices and company standards.

  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.

  • Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation.

  • Deploy and support maintenance of software applications in production environments; Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as they arise.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications):

  • 5+ years of proven backend development experience using Python, Java, Ruby, or similar programming language along with knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices, including Agile development.

  • 5+ years in front-end development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, and Vue.js).

  • 3+ years of experience working in a microservices environment developing a SAAS application in a public cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)

  • 3+ years using different data stores such as MongoDB, ELK, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Splunk, and Redshift

  • Experience embracing new technologies, conducting research, and adapting/managing context switches

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Solid knowledge of computer networking fundamentals including hardware (switches, routers, access points), OSI model, and essential protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP)

Zscaler's salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$147,000-$210,000 USD
