Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Staffing Resources Manager. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

The GBSD Enterprise Staffing Resources Manager is responsible for providing staff to the program for all functions across all GBSD Enterprise programs and IPTs. Responsibilities include leading a GBSD Enterprise focused staffing team, collecting detailed near term staffing needs from IPT leads and CAMs, and working with the hiring team to fill near term needs. The staffing manager identifies critical skill needs and potential strategies for filling those needs and ensures that Talent Acquisition (TA) and hiring managers are thinking ahead to build a pipeline for those critical skills.

Manager establishes the battle rhythm across the Enterprise and each program to develop, provide status and generate enterprise and program staffing metrics and provide a weekly report to management which is shared across the enterprise and program. This aspect of the role requires, regular interfaces with Directors and VPs across the GBSD Enterprise.

Staffing manager leads the GBSD Enterprise summer intern program which includes forecasting needs, coordinating intern assignments with assignment managers, reviewing statements of work with program leadership, on-boarding the interns, and developing GBSD specific events for the interns including mid-term and final project reviews with program leadership.

Staffing manager forecasts long-term staffing and critical skill requirements and communicates these needs to Human Resources and TA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline

  • Minimum of 8 years of technical experience

  • Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous management experience
