Position Summary

The Regional Manpower Coordinator is part of the staffing team and will support Operations by dispatching skilled and qualified candidates/resources for the day to day project or turnaround manpower requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

To include sourcing, telephone screening, testing, background screening and hire paperwork. Will also work with the Talent Acquisition team when additional technical or skilled candidates/resources are needed.

This position will receive and review all manpower requisitions and will coordinate training and orientation classes with the local or regional Staffing Coordinator, Training Department, or a Third-Party Administrator. Will be responsible for overseeing and managing the applicable Drug and Alcohol consortium and monitor all policies and procedural compliance. In addition, will schedule and coordinate travel for any personnel movement needed to staff project including but not limited to flight, hotel, and rental car as needed. All travel must be reconciled on a monthly basis in the required time frames.

Must be familiar with the industry work force and network of skilled workers.

Must be able to multi task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be very computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Must be able to work well with other departments and assist as needed.

Education and Experience

High school education or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years operational experience in the Oil & Gas industry, Construction or alternative heavy industries.

Strong people skills, computer skills and must have knowledge of local and state regulations as it relates to Human Resources.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands

Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Able to bend, squat and kneel.

Lift and carry up to 20 pounds unassisted.

Available to work long hours, after hours and weekends as needed.
