The Staffing Coordinator has responsibility for interviewing, completing hiring paperwork, scheduling, tracking attendance, and initiating and tracking training completion for child care, nursing, clinical, and unit clerk staff for Hospital. The position also tracks client census and acuity to ensure staff schedules and assignments are adjusted as needed to meet optimum clinical needs of each unit.# A Staffing Coordinator shares responsibility with Staffing and Program Leadership for assuring optimal coverage in all areas of responsibility.

Requirements #High School graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor#s Degree in mental health or related field preferred. Equivalent experience would be considered. #Demonstrated ability to work effectively with emotionally challenged children/adolescents, inpatient psychiatric, and/or residential children/adolescents recommended. #Excellent organization abilities required. #Established proficiencies in verbal and written communication required. #Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and/or Access database technology or equivalent required. # The candidate must pass a Criminal Record History Clearance and a Child Abuse History Clearance which are processed by KidsPeace. The candidate must pass a Physical # Drug Screening # possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all KidsPeace sponsored trainings. EOE
