STAFFING & PATIENT FLOW COORDINATOR - NURSING

PART-TIME, 24HRS - BENEFIT ELIGIBLE

5:00AM - 5:00PM

Summary:

Performs daily staffing activities for the inpatient nursing units and float pool. Coordinates unit-based schedules for assigned nursing units and ensures that daily staffing is adequate and staff is assigned where needed. Deploys the Companion Float Pool to as needed to the Visual Monitoring Station and unit needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

1.Formal Education Required:

a. High School diploma or equivalent, Associates degree preferred.

2.Experience & Training Required:

a. One year of related experience. Two years preferred

3.Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

a. Strong Verbal and Communication Skills

b. Ability to understand staffing and scheduling functions

c. Strong analytic and organizational skills

d. Knowledge of timekeeping systems and staffing/scheduling requirements

e. Strong customer service

f. Understanding of PC systems, hardware and software.

g. Knowledge of UKG/Kronos scheduling platforms.

4.Level of Physical Demands:

a. Sedentary: exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.

$16.71/hr - $20.05/hr

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience and geographical location are considered when determining the starting rate of pay.
