Job Description

Under the direction of the Hiring Manager, this position supports all pooled salary entry level hiring within Dining Services. Assists with onboarding of all salary and non-student wage employees by developing training, programs, and resources to increase retention. Oversees salary recruitment strategies to ensure departmental needs are met. Analyzes data to support departmental decisions. Assists with non-student wage hiring.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent training and experience.

• Experience with facilitating and/or developing training.

• Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of competing demands.

• Ability to research and prepare analysis and data summary reports.

• Experience with online applicant tracking systems and/or Human Resource information system.

• Exceptional organizational skills, with the demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision.

• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner; interact respectfully and comfortably with all individuals in a diverse, multicultural environment; remain calm and polite in stressful situations; exercise excellent judgment, discretion, and initiative.

• Experience using computers including programs and software such as Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS) and Internet search engines for research.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with food service operations with exposure to food quality, customer service, and/or food safety issues.
