About the Job
Nexant is looking for a Staffing Administrator. The position will be based in Salt Lake City, UT. The primary function is to off load the current leads of staffing administration, including interview scheduling (temps), on-boarding, and training of new personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience as a recruiting coordinator and is extremely organized.
Duties and Responsibilities
As a brand ambassador for Nexant, promotes the company as a premier employer and customer for potential candidates, temps, and consultants
Liaise with vendors (staffing agencies), temporary staff, internal staff, managers, and various cross-functional personnel, including HR
Collaborate with managers to understand department needs
Manage all of the administration of temp staffing including screening, scheduling, greeting candidates, tracking, etc. while insuring an exceptional experience for the candidate
Maintain and update the recruiting pipeline by using social media, trade association, local universities, colleges, search firms and the Internet
Assist with testing and evaluations of applicants and their qualifications
Administer training of skills for various client assignments
Mentor and train new hires on quality, performance, and customer satisfaction
Monitor temporary employee attendance and performance
Investigate problems or complaints of customers and employees, document findings, and consult with the appropriate supervisor
Other duties as assigned.
At least 2 years of experience as an administrative support person
Recruiting coordinator experience highly preferred
High School diploma required
Some college preferred.
Strong analytic skills with ability to create and manage workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Cooperative, team oriented, able to work independently
Emotionally intelligent, calm, and professional.
