Our Opportunity:

Business Analysts are responsible for understanding and translating the needs of the business with the use of technology. They ensure their deliverables are aligned with business need and requirements, provide advice, and work cross-functionally with the project team. Experience leading different project roles is beneficial for success in this role.

Looking to improve early engagement in a project during discovery phase, a cross project business system analyst is critical in the success of identifying impacted systems and teams, collaborating to define MVP, creating high level solution diagram and establishing a framework in Confluence. The cross project business system analyst will work closely with architects, lead techs and POs to do the up-front planning and organization of epcis and/or stories before turning over to a sprint team for more detailed refinement and sprint 0 activities.

  • Process models and pain points

  • Analysis of business processes

  • Requirements

  • Business models

  • Vision (features)

  • Use Cases/User Stories

  • Software Requirements Specifications

Enable:

  • Requirements management

  • Change management

  • Pain points and problems to be solved

Key Tasks:

  • Identify Use Cases/User Stories

  • Run Use Case discovery workshops

  • Document requirements

  • Analyze requirements and change impacts

What you have:
4+ years of experience as a Business Process Analyst, Systems Analyst, and/or Business Analyst

  • Understand business processes, roles, steps and goals

  • Can identify opportunities for process improvement

  • Understand organizational culture, structure, and constraints

  • Ability to identify and analyze business and technology requirements

  • Manage project requirements across functional groups including traceability and changes

  • Communicates with stakeholders and can identify their needs

  • Coordinates User Acceptance Testing

  • Understand what the business does (i.e. products, goals, services and competitors)

  • Experience in the financial industry is a plus

  • BA/BS degree

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst you will analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. You will provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements. What you'll do: * As a member of the Advice Technology team, you will be immersed in a collaborative, innovative, and technically challenging environment. Strong SQL experience and familiarity with data warehouse tables and a basic understanding of data warehouse concepts * Experience in analyzing and providing technical recommendations for application development and integration efforts * Experience in leading and managing client engagements in various disciplines and across all phases of the SDLC * Experience with preparing written reports and conducting oral presentations as well as communicating accurately, effectively and persuasively * Ability to pick up complex concepts and processes quickly * Passion for streamlining and integrating business processes and data * Experience in applying critical thinking to complex business problems through creative problem, decision making and process improvement * Sound knowledge of documentation procedures, programming procedures and methods, operator instructions, and program flow charts. * Ability to work with diverse group of professionals in a collaborative environment. Education and Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field from an accredited university or institution.
