Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our organization as a Staff Program Manager within the Insights and Data Products organization. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing and managing a complex innovations program within a sizable product portfolio, ensuring successful execution and alignment with our overall business objectives. This role is situated in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, characterized by a sense of urgency and resource constraints. The person in this role must be able to be adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to take on additional responsibilities as the need arises. This role calls for exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, strong background in the data, technical acumen, and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously. Position will partner with the Lead Product manager and will report to the head of Technical Program management for our I&D Products and Enterprise Data platform.

Sample of Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Strategy: Define and implement portfolio management strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Continuously evaluate and improve the portfolio management process, identifying opportunities for optimization and best practices. Demonstrate the ability to think strategically and understand the business objectives and challenges at hand. Identify areas where AI can provide value, align the AI program with long-term goals, and develop an AI roadmap accordingly.

  • Program Planning: working with portfolio product manager to develop and maintain a comprehensive portfolio roadmap, outlining the strategic direction and delivering on prioritized initiatives. Develop a comprehensive program plan, including goals, milestones, timelines, resources, risk assessment and budget allocation.

  • Program Governance: Establish and maintain effective governance processes for the portfolio, including reporting mechanisms, decision-making frameworks, and overall program oversight.

  • Program execution: Take charge of driving the execution of the innovations program by supervising the implementation of diverse components and functionalities. This includes overseeing the utilization of AI technologies, machine learning algorithms, data science principles, data integration, storage, processing, governance, security, analytics, infrastructure, and collaboration capabilities. Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as data engineers, data scientists, architects, product managers, scrum masters, etc., to ensure seamless integration and progress.

  • Program Coordination and Integration: Ensure seamless coordination and integration among different work streams, and initiatives within the platform. Identify and manage interdependencies, resolve conflicts, and promote effective communication and collaboration among project teams.

  • Change Mgt: Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of the innovation's platform. Provide guidance and support to facilitate organizational change, training, and communication initiatives.

  • Financial and Budget Mgt: Solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and resource allocation to effectively manage program finances, track expenditures, optimize resource utilization, and manage vendor relationships. Understanding of P&Ls, LBA's, ROIs, vendor & invoice management, etc.

  • Data governance: Ensure adherence to relevant data governance and compliance standards, legal requirements, and regulatory policies within the platform. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to establish appropriate data privacy and security measures.

  • Presentations: Build and present clear and concise presentations that include data visualizations, dashboards, strategic level directions, etc.

  • KPIs/ Metrics: Drive portfolio performance through effective resource allocation, risk management, and continuous monitoring of project progress and KPIs. Develop and track program metrics, KPIs, and milestones to measure program progress, performance, and outcomes. Regularly report on program status and achievements to stakeholders and senior management.

  • Communication: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and team members, to ensure clear communication and seamless coordination across all programs. Develop automated reporting within smart sheets that are distributed to the appropriate audience, dashboards and a centralized share point site for the Innovations program.

  • Portfolio Risk Mgt: Actively identify, analyze, and resolve risks and issues, recommending appropriate mitigation measures. Includes building a risk registry that is up to date and includes automated reporting.

  • Resource Mgt: Optimize resource allocation and facilitate effective utilization of personnel, tools, and technology to maximize program delivery. Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to manage program budgets and vendor relationships.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance program efficiency, delivery, and client satisfaction. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies related to data management and analytics.

  • Business Acumen: Understand the business context and industry-specific challenges that AI can help solve. Be able to identify and prioritize AI use cases that align with business needs and deliver tangible results.

  • Ongoing Best Practices/Learning: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to AI and machine learning. Conduct research, identify emerging AI technologies, and evaluate their suitability for adoption.

  • Mentor: Provide leadership and guidance to other program managers, enabling them to successfully execute their projects & programs within the portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT Business, or a related field.

  • Proven work experience with a minimum of 10+ years as a Lead Technical Program Manager.

  • Background within a startup environment or building of a brand new product from ground up is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale programs or projects concurrently within a portfolio.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms and services.

  • Strong knowledge of AI technologies, frameworks, algorithms, and tools.

  • Strong analytical thinking skills, displaying a data-driven mindset to analyze complex information and make informed decisions to drive program success.

  • Embraces a fast-paced and evolving environment, adept at adapting to changes and effectively managing program complexities.

  • Possesses a robust technical acumen, exhibiting a strong understanding of data management and analytics technologies, tools, and platforms (e.g., Cloud, Databricks, data integrations, security, infrastructure).

  • Proficient in creating impactful and visually appealing portfolio level PowerPoint presentations.

  • Strong understanding of data management principles, data governance, data integrations, data platforms, and analytics methodologies is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels of the organization both technical and nontechnical audiences. Proven experience with working with senior level executives.

  • Experience in strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and tracking program performance.

  • Proficient in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., Smart sheets, Jira, Product Plan, Azure DevOps, Confluence, FinancialForce, Sharepoint, Excel, etc).

  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus but not mandatory.

  • Experience in the commercial real estate industry or related fields is desirable.

Estimated compensation for this position is:

160,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
