The Product Management / Staff Technical Program Manager, GE Digital will be responsible for
selecting, configuring, managing and documenting process essential to supporting the CoreTech
Product Management function and in the broader CoreTech team and GE Digital. Responsibilities
will extend to delivering and supporting applications critical to the Product Management group
resulting in the delivery of world class offerings that support the growth of GE businesses globally
Act as the Project Manager/Evangelist for tools used within CoreTech for product management and support the implementation into the broader GE Digital deployment
Work with Product Management and broader Product teams on creation and management of collateral and content for the CoreTech website.
Act as technical project management for the GE CoreTech B2B website ensuring product management requirements, configurations and fixes are implemente into the website.
Manage licenses, usage, setup and configuration and support users where required on product management specific tools.
Updating and maintaining the product taxonomies, reporting, and ensuring the websites and product management tools are aligned to the product taxonomy.
Generating ideas for product management strategies and supporting tools.
Supporting the development of clear and exciting product positioning, value propositions and product roadmaps for a suite of Digital Workplace products by providing a toolbox to enable the Product Management team to be successful.
Partnering with the account management, regional leaders, and website development to ensure seamless exchanges of data, infographics and information between platforms
Establish and document processes that will be used by Product Managers when using tools and communicating information.
Develop requirements and technology required for integrations with associated tools such as Aha!, Rally and data links to websites where information should be consumed.
Partnering with other product management team members to help define a consistent, integrated, holistic product management approach for all products and services
Bachelor's Degree AND a minimum 6 years of professional experience OR a Masters degree AND 4 years experience
GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
Must be able to travel 20% within the US
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Software Design Patterns and Java coding principles
Experience working in Agile engineering environment
Familiarity with versatile implementation options, including Java, Node.js, Go, Python.
3+ year experience working in IT environment.
Experience working with SaaS applications.
Software deployment and management experience.
Program management and understanding product management
Knowledge of web development tools and interfaces.
Demonstrated ability implementing and supporting business processes, business oriented
software and websites.
Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices
Has the ability to perform financial planning and analysis of technology choices
Demonstrates knowledge on technical topics, such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security
Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team. Balances value propositions for competing stakeholders.
Demonstrates knowledge of the competitive environment
Demonstrates knowledge of technologies in the market to help make buy vs build recommendations, scope MVPs, and to drive market timing decisions
Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions

Proactively identifies and removes project obstacles or barriers on behalf of the team
