Staff Systems Engineer - Developer Experience

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 4/5+ years of experience working in the capacity of a Devops role,

build/release/systems engineer, or any other software development related

job

• Good working knowledge of Artifactory

• Good working knowledge in the use of software build tools, e.g. maven,

npm or Gradle.

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with Kubernetes preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with AWS /GCP

• Good knowledge in writing pipelines for CI/CD and catalog management

• Excellent knowledge in troubleshooting and debugging technical issues.

• Excellent knowledge using tools such as Splunk, Graffana, Prometheus,

Cloud watch and other monitoring tools.

• Good working knowledge of Jenkins

• Good working knowledge of source code management tools e.g. Git /

Atlassian Bitbucket / GitHub

• Experience in using Python/Shell Scripting/Powershell/Groovy, or any

scripting language.

• Experience with Java, Golang, or .net programming languages is highly

preferred.

• Excellent knowledge of DevOps practices and procedures

• Proven ability to multi-task

• Self-motivated and adaptable to change

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a team setting.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112,500.00 to 163,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
