The Intelligence and Homeland Security Group of Leidos is seeking a Mid-Level Staff Support Officer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Northern Virginia. An Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required in order to be considered for this position. The candidate will support Government staff in developing a broad range of written products in support of senior leadership and USG policymakers.
Support Government staff in developing a broad range of written products in support of a National Intelligence Manager.
Assist Government staff with the preparation of packages and written products.
Help to create talking points, IC posture papers and memo's for senior-level meetings.
Maintain situational awareness of a variety of Area of Responsibility (AOR) issues.
Assist in tracking tasks.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires a BA degree and 4 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Bachelor's degree or 4 years equivalent, related work experience
Requires ability to communicate with executive leadership regarding matters of significant importance to the National Intelligence Manager (NIM).
One (1) year experience working with or in the Intelligence Community.
Five (5) years' experience related to Staff Officer Duties.
Experience working with multiple Government organizations.
Ability to multi-task and meet simultaneous deadlines in short periods of time and proficiency in working in a fast-paced environment.
Understanding of the IC structure and individual agency capabilities and mission.
Experience in the Area of Responsibility Africa.
