Staff Software Engineer-Backend

Come join the Consumer SMB Ecosystem team as a "Staff Software Engineer". This is a unique opportunity to be a founding member of the engineering team, where you can utilize your startup acumen as we swiftly create value at the intersection of Small Business and consumer interactions.

• Agility: As we strive to establish our product-market fit, we need individuals who can swiftly leverage Intuit platform assets while collaborating with consumer and SMB business groups within Intuit.

• Comprehensive technical skills: We need contributors who can work across the tech stack (both frontend and backend), utilizing the latest industry trends and Intuit technology.

• Strategic thinking: We value individuals who can strategically plan and operate independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead in gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and implementing them.

• Work with and along various business group within Intuit including MailChimp and Credit Karma on mission teams.

• Act as the technical subject matter expert: Mentor fellow engineers, demonstrate technical expertise, and lead a small team in solving challenging programming and design problems.

• Contribute to hands-on coding approximately 40-60% of the time.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including product management, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results.

• Demonstrate a passion for developing well-architected, elegant solutions.
