The Business Process Management Technology (BPM) team develops & supports various technology platforms in support of overall workflow solutions at Schwab. These platforms are mission critical, and integral to providing world-class service to our external and internal clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly visible team working on an exciting and highly visible team at Schwab.
What you'll do:
Design solutions based upon our business requirements
Follow best practices and governance guidelines through design and code review practices
Actively participate in Direct Capture of Objectives sessions, offering guidance and thought leadership
Represent technology in meetings with our business partners
Partner with other technology leads both in our organization and throughout Schwab to deliver our business solutions
Foster our offshore partnership while driving for continual improvement of our agile-based development process
Understand Schwab business processes that our application supports by participating in ghosting sessions
What you have:
We have an exciting role for a self-motivated contributor who is up for delivering transformational change and leading others. You also have:
Hands-on experience in using, building and managing Pega frameworks for reuse, using Pega Connectors & Services for integration, Pega tools (PAL, Tracer, Security Model, Access Groups, UI Portals, Log Analyzer)
Working knowledge of Oracle / SQL. Familiarity with workflow concepts and document management processing
Demonstrated competency and familiarity with industry leading Test and software management as well as source control tools like : Cucumber/Selenium, Jira, Confluence, GIT style source control, Bit Bucket
Understanding of testing web services using SOAP tools, performance testing tools would be advantageous.
Working experience in Agile Development / scrum methodology.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
Strong analytical problem solving skills. Excellent self-organization skills with an demonstrated ability to work independently while being flexible in adapting to changing needs of the Business
