This position is eligible for hybrid telework, and will be required to come to the headquarters office located in Sacramento as needed.

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Staff Services Manager (SSM) II plans, manages, and directs the business services of the Commission on the Status of Women and Girls (CCSWG). CCSWG outsources accounting, budgeting, procurement, information technology and human resources functions to the Department of General Services (DGS) and the California Department of Technology (CDT). The SSM II will act as the liaison between CCSWG and DGS, CDT, the Cal Travel Store, FI$Cal Department of Finance (DOF) and the California Department of Human Resources (CalHR), providing management, support and oversight of business functions. The SSM II is responsible for CCSWG's full realm of fiscal operations and administrative functions and personally performs the most sensitive and complex duties associated with essential services relating to the CCSWG's business service's needs.

This position is a 12 month Limited Term (LT) and may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment.
