Job Description and Duties
California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) seeks to fill Permanent/Full Time Staff Services Manager (SSM) I Specialist position(s) in the Performance Management Unit (PMU). Under the general direction of the SSM II, PMU, the SSM I (Specialist) is responsible for providing guidance and expertise to management and supervisors in areas involving employee performance and administration of the department's disciplinary process impacting mental health, dental, and medical staff at the institutions and within CCHCS. This assignment has extensive travel, approximately 30%.
NOTE: Training and Development (T&D) assignments will not be considered for this recruitment.
