In this key position, you will focus on attracting, sourcing, and retaining quality health care professionals and ancillary staff. This may include event planning and attendance, development of media plans and engagement with media representatives to secure advertising, updating information and marketing messages on CCHCS' social media platforms and careers website, and sourcing and engaging candidates via the web, email, and telephone.

CCHCS seeks to fill a Permanent/Full-time Staff Services Analyst/Associate Governmental Program Analyst position in the Workforce Development Unit.

Staff Services Analyst

Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS), Human Resources Division, Employment and Outreach, Workforce Development Unit, the Recruiting Analyst performs the work of average difficulty in the design, organization, and implementation of a recruiting program that focuses on expeditiously attracting, sourcing, hiring, and retaining quality health care professionals and ancillary staff. This position requires occasional overnight and weekend travel.

Associate Governmental Program Analyst

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS), Human Resources Division, Employment and Outreach, Workforce Development Unit, the Recruiting Analyst performs the more complex analytical work in the design, organization, and implementation of a recruiting program that focuses on expeditiously attracting, sourcing, hiring, and retaining quality health care professionals and ancillary staff. This position requires occasional overnight and weekend travel.

Please note: A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time.

About the location - Elk Grove, CA (Headquarters)

Located less than 30 minutes from Sacramento and Lodi, the progressive city of Elk Grove offers a great mix of newly developed housing, business projects, and recreational opportunities. You will enjoy working at our campus-style office complex with free parking, and perhaps even call Elk Grove home.

Telework

Positions eligible for hybrid telework, must be in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.
