Good health care is key to a good life. At Banner Health, we understand that, and that's why we work hard every day to make a difference in people's lives.

Do you like the idea of making a positive change in people's lives - and your own? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Alzheimer's Prevention Initiative (API) was established in 2009 to launch a new era in Alzheimer's prevention research, accelerate the evaluation and approval of prevention therapies, and find ones that work as soon as possible. API is led by researchers from BAI in partnership with leaders from academia, industry, and other public and private stakeholder organizations from around the world.

We are seeking a Staff Scientist to support new and ongoing API research activities with a particular emphasis on studies of methods for communicating Alzheimer's disease gene and biomarker risk information and test results. The Staff Scientist will also collaborate with researchers from other programs at BAI, such as Clinical Research Program and our statewide Arizona Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC). This individual will work closely with the study principal investigators to design and implement studies, analyze study data, prepare manuscripts describing study findings, and provide programmatic support for the studies. This position would be hybrid (both remote and onsite) fulltime M-F.

Your pay and benefits (Total Rewards) are important components of your Journey at Banner Health. Banner Health offers a variety of benefit plans to help you and your family. We provide health and financial security options, so you can focus on being the best at what you do and enjoying your life.

Banner Alzheimer's Institute (BAI) was established in 2006 as Banner Health's first Center of Excellence. Banner Sun Research Health Institute (BSHRI) was founded in 1986.

Our team is uniquely, passionately, and strategically committed to ending Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders without losing another generation and to providing an unparalleled model of care for families facing this devastating disease. Banner Research is committed to improving people's lives through comprehensive patient care and advances that capitalize on the best biomedical research. We intend to make a transformational difference in Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative disorders research and care.
