The thirty bed department is divided into three 10-bed units which all accommodate medical, surgical, cardiac, trauma and neurological patients. The patient population is not limited to specific services, and patients are cared for by our in-house critical care medicine team, which includes a critical care pharmacist, physician specialty groups and hospitalists. Our nursing staff is well versed in all areas. Each unit contains a centrally located monitor- and work station; a supply and medication room, as well as break areas. All patient rooms are private with an individualized monitoring system. These connect to the central monitor stations, which are continuously operated by dedicated staff.
