The Kiyonaga Lab is a cognitive neuroscience research lab, examining how the cognitive processes related to working memory interact with perception, attention, and action. We use a combination of methods to examine how the human brain generates and maintains information for complex behavior. These include behavioral assessments, neuroimaging and physiology (fMRI, EEG, eye-tracking, EMG), and brain stimulation (transcranial magnetic stimulation, TMS).

The Staff Research Associate I will join the Kiyonaga lab to assist the PI and other lab members in the research and administrative operations of the lab. These include computer programming for experimental task preparation and data analysis, data collection, processing, and presentation, as well as human subject recruitment and scheduling. Specific administrative duties include managing IRB protocols, managing databases, preparing experimental materials, coordinating undergraduate laboratory volunteers, as well as ordering, inventorying, maintaining, and transporting laboratory equipment and supplies. Specific research duties include data collection with healthy human subjects (using MRI, EEG, eye-tracking, TMS), fMRI data analysis and visualization, maintaining stimulus presentation and analysis codebases, as well as training new staff and volunteers. Some travel may be required.
