A passion for helping seniors
A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written
Provides services to help maintain and strengthen residents' independence and dignity in a family life atmosphere
Assist with social maladjustments or any other situations developing
Supervise, motivate, and direct all nursing staff
Give medical assistance when needed
Knowledge of policies and procedures of the community and of state and local regulations
Maintain accurate and legible records including nursing assessments, nurses' notes, progress notes, adverse reactions to medications, unusual incidents, follow up assessments to pain
Must be a licensed registered nurse from an accredited school with current licensure by the State Board of Nurse Examiners
Broad knowledge of medications.
Ability to supervise and motivate others.
Ability to work under minimal supervision - a self-starter
Associate degree or equivalent form a 2-year college or technical
