Summary of Role:

The Offering Specialist Manager is an individual contributor role, responsible for Finfet RF technology offering developed and/or manufactured in GLOBALFOUNDRIES. This position requires product definition experience in a variety of silicon-based technologies including Leading edge technologies for applications in the RF market including RF Transceivers, WiFi, Bluetooth etc. A core requirement for this individual is the ability to translate RF market requirements (MRD) into process technology requirements (PRD) as a deliverable to our technology development organization. This includes device requirements, PDK and design flow requirements, foundational and complex IP requirements and competitive benchmarking needs. This individual will own RF Finfet technology offering proposal development through product development approval for activities and requires working closely with various teams including technology development, design enablement, finance, manufacturing, business development, sales and execution to develop the necessary product offering inputs for a successful approval exit. This role will be responsible for establishing the offering business case and by working closely with business development, sales and execution, for the products he/she is responsible for. This individual will also be responsible for insuring development projects remain on schedule and budget. This role also consists of a customer-facing component which requires presenting and articulating the value of our portfolio across various customer functions including executive management, procurement and engineering. This individual will also be responsible for the technology offering go-to-market strategy and will interface with both our outbound and inbound marketing teams to develop sales training plans/communications, press releases, webinars and event planning. This position will be based out of our US location.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Member of the RF Offering management group based out of US and serve as Finfet portfolio owner

  • Product council proposal (business case) ownership through signoff

  • Coordination with Design Enablement/TD/fabs and customers to plan and execute new product offerings. Ensure effective communication across the internal and external project stakeholders.

  • PRD ownership for product roadmap and handoff to development team

  • Ownership of technology portfolio go-to-market strategy

  • Presentation of portfolio technology details and merits to customers and conferences

  • Aid in Sales kit development, sales team training in collaboration with the marcom manager

  • Participation in high-impact conferences, customer visits and trade shows to increase GLOBALFOUNDRIES visibility and brand recognition.

  • Perform all activities in a safe ad responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Discipline

  • Minimum 7 years of RF design and/or RF semiconductor technology experience with deep product architecture knowledge.

  • 2 years of directly relevant, hands-on demonstrated ability in driving technical requirements and enablement with development teams.

  • Ability to travel 10% (Domestic & International)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related Discipline

  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and proactive work ethic. Ability to identify opportunities and independently pursue.

  • Experience in working with international and diverse teams and with multiple levels of management.

  • Excellent verbal and writing skills. Good communicator and comfortable presenting to executive management and technical audiences.
