Staff Product Manager

EchoStar has an exciting opportunity for a Staff Product Manager in our Hughes Network Systems division. This position will be located at our office in San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities:

• Bridge development, sales and manufacturing to manage a product's life cycle.

• Assess market requirements, investigate new technologies, develop recommendations for technical product direction, and establish marketing and pricing plan and strategies.

• Guide product introduction and product updates.

• Develop functional requirements for product enhancements and new products to ensure that requirements identify the market need and/or problem.

• Coordinate with engineering, QA and operations to ensure products are getting designed and manufactured in a timely and high-quality fashion.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science electrical engineering or related technical field
• 6+ years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quick learner, capable of working independently.

• Understanding of digital communications technologies.

• Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

• Ideal candidate will have some experience in Product/Project Management techniques.

Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.

Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $96,000.00 - $128,000.00
