Position Description

  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

  • Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas

  • Maintains confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required

  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity

  • Models, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer service approaches and techniques to ensure Customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards.

  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions

  • Provides comprehensive patient care to customers

  • Provides pharmaceutical care to Customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling Customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).

  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Job Summary This position is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials and final products are sourced, tested and released according to prescribed internal procedures and in compliance with relevant Regulatory Agencies. Principle Accountabilities * Interfaces with all departments to establish, communicate and execute desired company strategies. * Assure effective controls are in place and maintained for all manufactured products. * Coordinates review of ingredients, in-process materials and all final product manufacturing steps for compliance against Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory Requirements. Determines final disposition (approval/rejection) for select materials and all Final Product. * Ensures a daily presence on the manufacturing floor to support compliance requirements as well as promote a Quality Culture. * Empower workforce with stop work authority for quality breaches. * Ensure compliance with consistent practices and deliverables; meet quality standards with policies and procedures and provide guidance on related disciplines. * Seek, share and assist in institutionalizing best practices. * Conducts audits, inspections to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and implements corrective actions as required. * Develops, collects and reports Quality performance metrics as needed. * Participates in the identification and implementation of all continuous process improvement activities. * Performs other duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities, if applicable * Manages all day to day activities Quality Assurance and Quality Control depts. and staff members to maintain quality and efficiency in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. * Coordinate training of new and current QA/QC personnel in applicable procedures and protocols as authorized. * Has authority either directly or through recommendations for employment decisions to include selection, training, performance evaluation, counseling, promotion and termination. * Participates in or conducts regular staff meetings to communicate pertinent corporate and program information. * Fosters a positive work environment and leads by example. * Ensures staff complies with all safety requirements. Knowledge & Skills * Knowledge of quality assurance policies, principals, procedures and techniques. * Excellent communication, effective leadership and interpersonal skills. * Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.) and the ability to quickly and easily learn new applications. * Lifting up to 60 pounds Experience & Education * A minimum of a 4 year science-related degree and 5+ years' experience in QA/QC with supervisory role.
