As a per diem, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, you will oversee all pharmacy operations at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs.
Schedule: This per diem, nonexempt position will provide coverage for staff PTO or on an as needed basis.
About the Facility: Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center is a 25-bed critical access hospital that serves a five-county area in southeast Kansas. The average daily census at this hospital is usually at capacity and services an elderly population, with services including ER, Cardiac Rehab, Imaging Services, Orthopedics, Occupational and Physical Therapy, Outpatient Services, Women's Health Center and Sleep Lab. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-5:00pm, and 7:30am-12:00pm Saturdays and Sundays. There are 340B services offered by this pharmacy. Automation includes Pyxis ES and utilizes Cerner for electronic medical records. Remote entry is performed by the pharmacist after hours.
Required Qualifications:
Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
Current Kansas pharmacist license in good standing
Previous pharmacist work experience preferred
Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
Hep B3 Series (or declination)
(Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
