STAFF PHARMACIST- PER DIEM
RIDGEVIEW BEHAVIORAL HOSPITAL
MIDDLE POINT, OHIO
This position does not have any regularly scheduled hours but will work and take call "as needed" to provide coverage for weekday and weekend shifts.
Pharmacy Hours: weekdays from 7am to 3:30pm and weekends from 7am - 11am.
As a Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Staff Pharmacist at Ridgeview Behavioral Health, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
About the Facility: Ridgeview Behavioral Health, is a Joint Commission accredited, 84-bed behavioral hospital that operates at maximum capacity, offering a range of mental health and addiction services, including dual diagnosis treatment, complete psychological assessments, individual & group counseling, exercise therapy, and much more. The pharmacy is centralized and Management of the pharmacy is outsourced to Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS).
Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
Ohio Pharmacist Licensure active and in good standing
Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred
Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
Demonstrated customer service skills
Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
Effective communications skills; verbal and written
