In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. This includes: Patient Safety Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Requirements Quality Assurance Customer Service Personnel Management Inventory Management Financial Profitability Loss Prevention Workflow Management A key component of the Staff Pharmacist role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs.

Required Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)* Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

VIEW JOBS 9/22/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-12-21T00:00 Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Full-Time OSS Orthopaedic Hospital York, Pennsylvania Description: As a full-time, exempt, Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Clinical Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, on a varying schedule. This position will work on-call. About the Facility: The OSS Orthopaedic Hospital is the first and only free-standing facility in the York area dedicated exclusively to orthopaedic surgery. It is owned and operated by the physicians of OSS Health who are board-certified and fellowship-trained in the many areas of orthopaedics. The focus for patients is on providing you with an excellent experience during your stay. This specialty hospital is committed to low infection rates and superior clinical results. Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS. About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy operates with a decentralized model utilizing the following technology: CPOE, Medent, CPSI and provides support to the pre-operative, operative and post operative surgical services offered to patients visiting the hospital. the pharmacy is open 5:30AM to 6PM Monday through Friday, and 8-Noon on Saturdays. Pharmacist typically work 4 to 8 hour shifts. Required Qualifications: * Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred * Current Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of PA * Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program strongly preferred * Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting preferred * Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns * Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting * Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems * Effective communications skills; verbal and written Hospital Requirements: * (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months Benefits: All employees enjoy a competitive salary, eligibility to participate in the 401(k) savings plan with a match.
