In addition to supporting the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing your Pharmacy Technician Support Staff, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight and operation of all aspects within your pharmacy. This includes: Patient Safety Pharmacy Professional Practice Regulatory Requirements Quality Assurance Customer Service Personnel Management Inventory Management Financial Profitability Loss Prevention Workflow Management A key component of the Staff Pharmacist role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs.

Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)* Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

You will work hands on with the Individuals that we offer support to. We are hiring for day program and residential services. At Day Program, DSPs work in a group setting environment, side by side with Individuals, taking them out in the community, all while helping them reach their individual goals. In residential, DSPs will go to our group homes and work with the Individuals. All the homes are in Adams County. DSPs help Individuals to complete daily tasks, while being supportive of their needs. We offer opportunities for the Individuals and staff to go out into the community. All DSPs are to supervise to maintain health and safety. Encourage the development and assist with daily living skills through active supports. Also, varied shifts and some travel within the county are required. There are always new experiences happening at TLC every day! We offer overtime bonuses!!! Full-time -you can make an extra $50 dollars a week or make up to $17.81 an hour!! Part-time -you can make an extra $50 dollars a week or make up to $16.72 an hour!! Essential Job Function Administer medication as ordered by a physician DSPs must ensure that people receive their medication as prescribed by their physician. DSPs will work with consumers to maximize their independence regarding medication administration. Examples include: * Administering medication within identified time frames and as ordered by physicians, for those employees that have been med trained, you are responsible to communicate with fellow team members, as well as support staff of times of medications to be administered during your shift. * Correctly documenting medication on the medication log. * Ensuring all medication and appointment logs are thoroughly and accurately completed. * Ensure medications are refilled from pharmacy in a timely fashion. * Count and document controlled substances * Ensure medications are stored properly and kept in a locked area. * Monitor consumers for side effects of medication errors. * Document all medication errors. Maximize Safety of Others DSPs work in the homes and have frequent direct contact with the individuals. DSPs must be observant for safety issues, correcting what they can and reporting what they cannot correct to management. Examples include: * Closely supervising consumers in the community who do not have traffic safety skills. * Keep hot water temperature below 120 degrees Fahrenheit. * Conducting and recording fire drills. * Monitor and replace smoke detector batteries. * Make sure seat belts are worn when in vehicles. * Shovel snow on sidewalks. * Report any suspicion of abuse. * Follow universal precautions and exposure control plan. Meet the needs of people receiving services * All services provided are individualized based on the needs of the consumers. Because consumers needs vary, what is provided is dependent on each individual's unique circumstances. Some people may need hands on assistance, while others may need only supervision or reminders to carry out tasks. Examples include: * Assist with bathing, dressing, tooth brushing, and other personal care activities. * Accompany residents to medical/ dental appointments and ensure recommendations are recorded and followed. * Administer and record medications * Prepare and serve nutritional meals. * Encourage recreational activities based on the person's interest. * Accurately document and assist with finances of individuals. * Teach skills to individuals. * Assist residents to be involved in the community. * Implement and document goals/ intervention plans. * Work hours based on best interest of residents. * Transfer persons who use wheelchairs to their bed/ toilet. Maintain Household Operations The DSP will involve the consumer in all household operations, encouraging them to be as independent as possible. The DSPwill work alongside consumers and ensure high standards are met by completing tasks, should the consumer be unable to completely perform the household task. Examples include: * Household cleaning * Cooking * Laundry * Grocery shopping * Weeding flower beds/ caring for landscape * Cleaning ovens * Shoveling snow * Maintain agency vehicles * Washing floors * Report electrical problems * Report issues to maintenance Communicate with Others The DSP needs to become an expert on their assigned residents and program sites. Information needs to be communicated in a timely, accurate and professional manner for the services to run smoothly. Communication includes both verbal and written information. Examples include: * Keep support staff informed of important information. * Interact positively and professionally with consumers. * Interact respectfully with parents, case management, day program representatives, neighbors, and significant others. * Report and document incidents. * Correctly implement E-Time system. * Report and document medication errors. * Appropriately use the emergency backup system which includes speaking directly with a supervisor to receive permission to miss work. * Assist on-call support staff with filling hours in order for you to miss work. * Document intervention plans and complete all other paperwork as needed. * File documents in consumers files * Be honest To Implement and follow all regulations: The DSP must be familiar with all regulations. They are responsible to provide services in a manner consistent with regulation and report areas where correction is needed. To Utilize TLC's Policies and Philosophies: The DSP must be familiar with TLC's policies and procedure manual and agency philosophies. Agency philosophies include behavioral psychology, positive approaches, person centered planning, normalization, social role valorization, and everyday lives philosophies. To be flexible and dependable: The DSP must be flexible and dependable with their schedules in order to meet the needs of the consumer and agency. This includes arriving to work on time, covering for sick co-workers, being at work during inclement weather and not doing personal activities while working. DSPs are required to assist in finding their own coverage when they use paid time off. Create a positive culture for all employees to work in: * Encourage all employees to build a positive culture through their work and actions. * Provide a positive environment of learning and growth for all employees. * Encourage employees to discuss issues and resolve them when able. * Enter situations with a positive attitude. * Communicate effectively with all employees of TLC in order to meet the needs of the individuals in our service. * Model exemplary leadership to all those internally and externally: a. Administration/Office Skills Required: Use of personal computer, tablet or mobile device, use of email, and ability to adapt and learn new software. * Office equipment, e.g., copier, fax, phone system and use good written and/or communication and telephone etiquette. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education- High school diploma or GE, college degree in a human services field preferred. Age- Eighteen years of age or older. Ability to drive- Valid PA Driver's license. Clearances- Act 13 and 33 clearances Health- Certification from a licensed independent practitioner that the person is free of contagious disease.
