Position Description

  • Demonstrates up-to-date expertise and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans

  • Ensures compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas

  • Maintains confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required

  • Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity

  • Models, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to Associates on proper Customer service approaches and techniques to ensure Customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines and standards.

  • Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions

  • Provides comprehensive patient care to customers

  • Provides pharmaceutical care to Customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling Customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, maintaining confidential information, maintaining controlled medication and required documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).

  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).

  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).

Primary Job Responsibilities: 1. Prepares monthly financial statements for stand-alone companies within the organization and assists with the preparation of the Consolidated Financial Reporting Package. 2. Assists with various monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements for both internal and external customers, including financial reporting and analysis. 3. Provides assistance to external auditors, including analysis and preparation of audit PBC schedules. 4. Processes bi-weekly payrolls and time management in ADP. Researches payroll, 401k, and time management related questions and issues. Communicates and assists with affiliate member company processing of payroll. Prepares benefit statement detail report for HR annually. Maintains and generates Board of Director payments. 5. Prepares related month end general ledger entries. 6. Prepares various weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements for both internal and external customers. This includes 401k remittances, 401k Compliance, over-time, various earnings, and workers compensation reports. Assists with various audits including 401k, payroll, and worker's compensation. 7. Administers and reconciles flexible spending plan. 8. Assists with payroll budget for all departments annually. 9. Post payments and adjustments to group and subscriber accounts accurately and in a timely manner. Processes the group adjustments as received from billing auditors through Laserfiche. 10. Maintains the pay cycle process for Accounts Payable. 11. Posting daily to accounts in accounting system from receipts of various types of deposits and assist with adjustments. Posts payments and adjustments to group and subscriber accounts accurately and in a timely manner. 12. Administers reconciliations related to cash, accounts receivable, and additional balance sheet accounts. Prepares related month end general ledger entries. 13. Provides assistance to external auditors including analysis and preparation of audit PBC schedules. 14. Assists in completing the 1099 process including balancing, annual reporting, and filing for all entities. 15. Provides support to the Underwriting Department as needed. Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the primary Job responsibilities as described above. Minimum Qualifications: Position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field and three years' experience in general accounting, taxes, payroll and/or investments. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience. Position requires effective verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and problem solving skills; knowledge of intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word functionality; 10-key, accounting and alphanumeric data entry.
