Staff Mammographer

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment

• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

• Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results

• Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment

• Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic evaluation of mammograms

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

• Provide patient education regarding the mammography process Qualifications: - Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist

• Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography

• Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation
