Summary & Objective

Case Manager 02 is responsible for providing assistance in the social services department with recruitment, and parent involvement component in compliance with agency policies and procedures, regulatory agencies requirements, funding sources stipulations and accreditation guidelines.

Essential Functions

  • Greet visitors and parents

  • Provide telephone and in person referrals to families

  • Collect parent fees and prepare receipts accordingly

  • Assist the Case Manager 05 in keeping the center's enrollment at full capacity at all times

  • Assist the Case Manager 05 in keeping a waiting list equivalent to 20% of the total program enrollment

  • Assist the Case Manager 05 in maintain children's records up to date

  • Assist the Case Manager 05 in the preparation of parent committee meeting

  • Follow up when 3 days of absenteeism occurs

  • Provide support to enhance parental involvement in-and-out of the classroom

  • Monitor parent's signatures arrival/pick up

  • Develop and maintain current, accurate and confidential client information

Other Duties

  • Assist with center's various activities

  • Demonstrates flexibility when work schedule needs to be changed to meet the needs of the center

  • Attend conference, trainings, and staff meetings as required

  • Maintain deficiency free and 90% compliance in the safety area and regulations

  • Complies with all personnel policies and procedures, including but not limited to dress code, wearing of name badge, professional image and conduct, punctuality and work attendance

  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respect towards persons of different cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds

  • Provides orientation to new employees as needed.

  • Maintain your required certifications and mandatory skill updates.

  • Comply with all policies, local, state and federal laws and regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

  • May serve as an interim department leader depending on need.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds., walk, climb stair or ladders, stand on feet for extended periods of time, etc.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • CPR / First Aid Certification

  • 1 year of clerical experience

  • Bilingual - English / Spanish

  • Ability to enter data in computer systems

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Time management skills

  • Must have knowledge of computer office software

  • Must be able to read, write and understand the English language

VIEW JOBS 4/30/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-07-29T00:00 A resident physician participates in an organized post graduate educational program in which they have daily contact with patients and assume increasing responsibility for their care under the supervision of the attending staff of the hospital. The assumption of responsibility is the most important aspect of residency training. As each resident physician demonstrates increasing knowledge and ability, and increasing amount of reliance should be placed in their judgment in the diagnosis and in treatment of patients. They may also participate in the teaching of interns and medical students to an increasing extent. The physicians are given the opportunity to put into practice the principles of preventive medicine, diagnoses, therapy and patient management which they learned as medical students. Under the supervision of the attending staff, they are given progressively increasing responsibility to the end that they acquire confidence in their clinical judgment. For the training to be approved, the hospital where the residency is served must be approved by the Board of Directors of Palmetto General Hospital, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and/or the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Position Qualification: (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities) 1. Must be a graduate of an osteopathic or allopathic post-graduate clinical eduction approved medical school or in good academic standing with an anticipated graduation date prior to commencing program at facility. 2. Must have passed the Level 1 and 2 of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners (NBOME) or the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) 3. If transferring into the program, post PGY 1, the program must obtain written or electronic verification of previous educational experiences and a summative competency-based evaluation of the transferring resident prior to acceptance into the program.
