Staff Engineer Systems Engineering emphasis on Requirements Management

Headquartered in Anaheim, CA, IEC is a recognized industry leader in defense and security solutions, providing critical technology advancements in the areas of GPS/ Position Navigation and Timing, and Range and Test Solutions.
Responsibilities include supporting engineering development, analysis, and flow down of requirements and verification and validation test planning. Specific responsibilities in this case include, requirements tracing and decomposition using the DOORS requirements management tool. Familiarity with GPS receiver performance criteria highly desired and familiarity with environmental testing required.

Bachelor or Master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline.
A minimum of 7 to 9 years' experience in navigation/GPS systems with emphasis in embedded systems desired.
Must have experience in requirements development and management.
Knowledge or successful use of architectural frameworks, embedded systems programming, DOORS, military GPS, signal processing, electronic engineering and/or RF designs a plus.
An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information.
