We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff or Senior Systems Engineer with expertise in Power Electronics to join our team. Responsibilities: • You will lead & Integrate the development of Smart Energy (V2X) and EVSE Ecosystems, both onboard & offboard the vehicle • You will be at the forefront of cross-functional workstreams and system engineering activities, collaborating closely with hardware, software, mechanical, product, and testing teams. • Your responsibilities will encompass contributions to smart charging & home energy management technologies, guiding them from prototype to production including development of requirements, defining system boundaries, and crafting robust system architectures • Be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding electronic products • Leading and driving system level activities for smart charging electronics related to Vehicle to Grid, Vehicle to Home & Vehicle to Vehicle architectures Qualifications: • A strong background in electronics, and basic understanding of grid standards and codes worldwide • Good understanding of system engineering approaches and techniques (System V) • In-depth understanding of design and delivery processes, from concept to mass production. • Good understanding of power conversion topologies and control strategies • Good understanding of communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet & MODbus Preferred: • Knowledge of electric vehicle systems and their high-power applications and related requirements. • Understanding of certification process for offboard systems (UL, EN, IEC) • Proficiency in debugging and validation of power electronics systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Eight years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a Phd with 3 years' experience in an Engineering discipline.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Base Pay Range (Annual)

$140,000-$205,260 USD
