Role Overview

This position is for a senior Aero Thermal Fluids Engineering professional with deep knowledge and highly developed technical expertise, operating with limited oversight. The position is a system engineering role focused on architecting, sizing, develops advanced models, analyzing performance of thermal fluid systems, and defining system test plans. Collaboration with customers to define, review, and refine system performance requirements is critical to the design process.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Under minimal direction, architect, size, and design thermal fluid systems and the associated controls for heating, cooling, and ventilation of aircrafts.

  • Formulates conceptual design of thermal fluid products or systems to meet customer requirements.

  • Develops advanced mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design, according to customer engineering requirements.

  • Performs system level analyses of thermal fluid systems and prepare technical reports of findings and recommendations.

  • With some direction, creates and implements common procedures and standard work across the organization.

  • Collaborate with customers to establish specifications, performs analysis, and plan performance testing.

  • Analysis test results for consistency with performance predictions and for compliance to system requirements.

  • Must be able to commit to travel up to 10% of the time.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required. Must be a US Person including green card holders.
