Job Title:Staff Coordinator, Casino Groups Support
We are currently seeking a Staff Coordinator, Casino Groups Support. Under the general supervision of the Manager- Casino Crew Personnel, Staff Coordinator - Casino Groups Support is responsible to perform duties related to scheduling and placement of Casino Crew across various GCO Brands in support of GCO Group Events. Ensure effective scheduling within the constraints of travel cost and Operational/Marketing requirements.
Maintain manning levels fleet wide in accordance with manning requirements in support of Casino Group events onboard.
Coordinate with Operations and Marketing Teams in regards to manning needs, group schedules, cabin bookings, etc.
Coordinate with the Travel Team and Manning Agents and provide requirements for each assignment in order for crew to apply for visas/medicals/Seaman's books
Ensure that all data related to crew assignments is kept up to date and accurate
Inform staff via email of any changes made to their scheduled assignments since signing off the ship
Ensure timely distribution and reporting of crew assignments and relevant files to Coordinators, Manning agents, Operations and Shipboard Management
Maintain all scheduling lists and systems (CPS, CMAS) up to date with the relevant staffs' movements
Provide/book flights as necessary
Arrange hotel accommodations and transportation when necessary
Liaise with Port agents in order to make necessary arrangements for arriving crew
Produce letters of employment and guarantee letters as needed
Research entry requirements for foreign Countries based on the employee's nationality
Work weekends, as part of the rotation shift in order to provide Emergency Travel assistance
Other duties as assigned by Manager- Casino Crew Personnel
High school diploma or equivalent
Working experience within cruise industry, travel or travel related industry
Experience of scheduling large volume of staff
A background in onboard casino operations is preferential
Must be able to address in a professional style and manner in both written and verbal communications
Attention to detail and ability to multi task
Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
Must possess the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
Strong organization skills
Leadership skills and a personable, professional approach
Ability to work within time and budget constraints
Ability to work independently
