Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work from an accredited program and clinical licensure in the State of Ohio before the start date; OR doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology from an APA accredited program and licensure as a psychologist within the first year of employment
Demonstrated sensitivity and commitment to multicultural issues/social justice and proven ability to interact with diverse individuals and groups
Desired Qualifications:
Independent licensure in Ohio
Experience working in a college counseling center
Demonstrated training and experience providing clinical, consultative, and programming services to students experiencing disordered eating and other related health conditions
Demonstrated training and experience providing clinical, consultative, and programming services to international students
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience working in mental health counseling/therapy
Experience in crisis assessment/management/intervention, short-term treatment, and confidentiality requirements
Demonstrated skills in working well under pressure to prioritize and manage multiple clinical situations and to coordinate these efforts as a part of a multidisciplinary team
Energy to flexibly manage the professional demands of a challenging workload while maintaining positive and healthy perspectives and relationships
Collaborative spirit of warmth, acceptance, respect, and trust towards colleagues
Self-motivated, self-directed commitment to high professional ideals, standards and ethics
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and work well in a team setting
