POSITION SUMMARY
You will be providing Level I IT Support and Break/Fix resolution from our client's location. You need patience and the ability to ask the right questions that uncover details critical to the resolution of issues. The salary for this position is $55,000+ (negotiable based on experience).
THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO BE ON SITE 5x/WEEK AT OUR CLIENTS LOCATION IN FARMINGDALE, NY.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and configure Slack workspaces, channels, and user accounts
Create and configure user accounts in Google Workspace
Manage user access levels, permissions, and group memberships within Google Workspace
Execute thorough offboarding procedures for departing employees, including account deactivation and data management
Provide technical support to users experiencing issues with Google Workspace applications
Create and configure user accounts within the Active Directory
Ensure accurate setup of user profiles, including group memberships, permissions, and access levels
Perform the initial setup and configuration of Windows 10 laptops, including operating system installation and basic software installations
Solid understanding of networking protocols, services, and security principles
Effective communication skills for user support and collaboration with IT teams
Proven experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Knowledge of Mobile Device Management systems and solutions
Monitor security alerts and events to identify and respond to potential security incidents promptly
DESIRED SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE
3-5 years of work experience providing technical support
Proficiency with all current Windows operating systems mandatory, Apple desirable
Server 2008-2019 Experience preferred
Active Directory
O365 Administration and Troubleshooting
Mobile Device Management - MDM
SonicWall Firewall Experience preferred
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as Routing/Switching/VLAN's
VMware experience is a plus
Azure experience is a plus
CompTIA A+ and Network+ will be required within 1 year of hire.
Microsoft, Apple, SonicWall, Cisco, and other IT vendor certifications desirable.
