Work you'll do

  • Perform specific audit steps under the supervision of a Senior Auditor

  • Review documentation and work papers related to Audit

  • Give exceptional attention to detail and identify process improvement opportunities

  • Effectively prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work objectives

  • Appeal to wide audiences through clear and succinct written and verbal communication

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • 5+ years of general auditing experience required

  • Auditing experience directly with the government or working at a consulting firm with government clients

  • Experience working with stakeholders

  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Masters degree

  • Experience with supporting client initiatives in a fast-paced, team environment

  • CPA certification

  • Experience with analyzing accounting and financial data

The team runs a wide variety of projects across four major functions: Sales, Marketing, Alliances, and our Account Leadership group to drive internal change for our Consulting business. The Strategic Change Lead will drive strategic projects from idea through execution. Projects can vary is size, scope, and timeline. Some examples of previous work include: developing and rolling out commercial processes to support communications for 300+ employees; leading the change management, communications, and training for a new CRM platform; and communicating behavioral changes impacting firm leadership. The perfect person for this job is someone who can drive a project or workstream end-to-end including defining initial scope and workplan, managing senior-level stakeholders, building executive communications, designing solutions, outlining change management plans, and more. This person should excel at visual and verbal communications, love collaborating cross-functionally, be highly organized and extremely proactive. Lastly, the ideal candidate will be passionate about change management and excited by the challenge of new projects. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $89,000 to $163,000.
