Staff Associate I Or II

Description:

North County Young Life is prayerfully seeking a staff associate to lead ministry at Lake Creek High School in Montgomery, Texas - a growing area just north of The Woodlands.

Young Life has been in Montgomery for five years, and it has grown into a strong and healthy area supported by a dedicated committee and volunteer leader team, with clubs at Lake Creek, Montgomery, and Conroe High Schools, as well as a YoungLives club for teenage moms throughout Montgomery County.

Responsibilities:

• Personal spiritual health and a vital relationship with Christ.

• Develop community and spiritual care for a team of volunteers.

• Continue to build healthy working relationships with school administration, campus ministers, and the community.

• Initiate and develop ministry through contact work, club, Campaigners, and camp.

• Work with the area committee in area fundraising and grow a personal donor base each year.

• Attend regional and area training and events.

Qualifications:

• A deep and growing faith in God.

• A passion for reaching lost adolescents and calling others to that mission.

• A philosophy and history of discipling others.

• A vision and plan to grow current ministries in reaching kids, leaders, committee, and parents.

• A servant leader who is teachable, innovative, collaborative, and flexible.

• Ability to build, train, recruit, and grow teams of people (student leaders, adult leaders, and committee members).

• Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication skills as it pertains to donors and parents of kids.
