Staff Associate, Department Of Rehabilitation Studies - 2 Positions

Job Description

Alabama State University, College of Health Sciences, Rehabilitation Studies/ Rehabilitation Counseling invites applications for two (2) Staff Associate positions. The selected applicants will provide administrative and office management duties related to the undergraduate programs in Rehabilitation Services and Rehabilitation Counseling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides administrative assistance to all program faculty

• Maintains program database for all program applicants

• Works with the Chair and faculty to collect, analyze and maintain data of graduates for various surveys (i.e. employer, graduate) and reports data for annual report to the Dean, College of Health Sciences

• Serves as event planner (i.e. travel requests, reservations, transportation) for the department

• Works with the Admissions Chair to analyze transcripts, collect, maintain, and report data of program enrollment for annual reports to the Dean, College of Health Sciences

• Works with the Chair and Faculty on all program activities (i.e. Student orientation, Advisory Board meetings etc.)

• Update rosters and com and maintain department database

• Supervise student workers, and perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree, 4 years of office management experience and a flexible schedule are required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Office Space. Familiarity with social media platforms, and experience using video conferencing platform are preferred.
