FP1 Strategies, a political consulting firm based in Arlington, Virginia is looking for a Staff Assistant to join the Political / Production team.

Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Aiding in the production of political commercial shoots which includes drafting schedules, connecting with campaign management and on-screen talent, as well as arranging general logistics
  • Coordinating travel arrangements for our production team
  • Handling team expenses
  • Providing administrative support to partners
  • Proofing political and advocacy ads for factual accuracy and general quality
  • Managing production team calendar which includes planning and scheduling meetings and appointments for company executives
  • Serving as point for the preparation of meetings and presentations
  • Preparing all new business pitch materials
  • Assisting with general firm operations

Applicants must have commercial pilot skills and experience to include operations in restricted airspace including MOA's, as well as operating in all classes of FAA controlled airspace. A commercial pilot certificate with instrument privileges and or an ATP rating and single and multi-engine ratings are required. Applicant must have a minimum of nine years' experience and have attained a minimum of 1500 flight hours in Turbo- Jet and/or turbo-prop aircraft. World-wide, day/night, instrument conditions operational experience is desired. Experience with employment/deployment of complex weapon systems, payloads and sensor packages is highly desired. Selected applicant must meet minimum medical requirements, which includes a company overseas physical and a current FAA second class physical. Candidates must be willing to train for, travel to, and work in austere remote locations. Must be willing to work extended shifts including holidays and weekends. Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport, accept customer furnished quarters and comply with mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and immunizations that may include anthrax and smallpox. The applicant selected will be subjected to Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. This position will require an active Top Secret security clearance with an SBI completed within the past 5 years. The candidate must agree to and successfully pass a polygraph examination and Customer medical evaluation. Test Pilot School not required.
